Description

An historical novel based on experiences Anabaptist Mennonite families faced during the Revolutionary War as non-associaters. All the people and happenings portrayed are historically correct, including their positions in life, their properties, and their historical applications. The main character, Henry Martin, lived on a farm along
the Conestoga Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He and his family and friends faced extreme trials for not taking part in the fighting. This is a well-documented account of this trying period of time in our nation’s history.
