Danny the Workhorse

Description

Danny was big and strong and gentle, but he had a problem . . . he hated to work. When Farmer Don fed the horses each morning, Danny would stand in the far corner of the pasture and refuse to come in. When Farmer Don put Danny’s work harness on, Danny would pretend to be terribly sick. How would Farmer Don get all the field work done without Danny’s help? Then Missus Dora had an idea.
